These terms explain cancellation, refunds and membership renewal for individual consumers buying from Sensory Visionaries Limited at a distance. They sit alongside our Individual Terms and do not reduce your statutory rights.
1. Your 14-day cancellation right
For most consumer service contracts made online, by telephone or by email, you have 14 days after the day the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason. Different rules can apply where a statutory exception applies.
2. If you want us to start within 14 days
Some Sensory Visionaries services are designed to start quickly, including Ask a VRS. If you ask us to begin before the 14-day cancellation period ends, we will obtain the express request required by law before work begins. If you then cancel during the 14 days, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for work already supplied up to cancellation. If a service is fully performed within the cancellation period, the cancellation right only ends where the legal conditions for doing so have been met.
3. Digital content supplied immediately
If a purchase includes paid digital content supplied immediately, we will obtain any express consent and acknowledgement required before supply starts. Where the statutory requirements are met, the right to cancel that digital content may be lost once supply begins.
4. How to cancel
Email contact@sensoryvisionaries.com and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel. Include your name, the email address used for purchase and the service or membership concerned. You do not have to give a reason.
Model cancellation wording
You may use the following wording, although you do not have to: “To Sensory Visionaries Limited, contact@sensoryvisionaries.com. I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service or membership]. Ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address, if relevant]. Date: [date].”
5. Refunds following statutory cancellation
Where a statutory refund is due, we will refund it without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, normally using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed. If you expressly requested an early start and cancel after work has begun, any lawful proportionate charge will be explained.
6. Ask a VRS
Ask a VRS is a one-off written service for one defined practical issue. If we conclude after review that the question is outside scope or that we cannot add meaningful specialist value, our stated value promise applies and we may decline the service and refund the price paid. This is separate from any statutory remedy.
7. Remote assessments
If an assessment is booked and you exercise a statutory cancellation right before work starts, the applicable statutory refund will be provided. If you expressly asked us to begin during the cancellation period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for work already completed. Any agreed appointment rescheduling arrangements will be communicated with the booking.
8. Monthly membership
Monthly membership renews monthly at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel renewal at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and, unless statutory rights require otherwise, access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Payments for a billing period already supplied are not routinely refunded simply because the membership is no longer used.
9. Annual membership
Annual membership is paid upfront for a 12-month term at the price shown at checkout. The statutory cancellation right at the start of the contract is unaffected. After the statutory cancellation period, choosing to stop using membership does not routinely create a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the paid term. You can cancel renewal so that another annual term is not charged. Statutory remedies remain unaffected if we fail to provide the contracted service.
10. Failed recurring payments
If a recurring payment fails, we may contact you and may suspend future membership access while the payment issue remains unresolved. We do not impose an undisclosed penalty.
11. If the service is not provided properly
Cancellation rules do not replace your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Consumer services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and statutory remedies may apply where a service does not conform to the contract.
12. Contract confirmation
After an online purchase we provide confirmation on a durable medium, normally email, with the relevant purchase information and any required consent or acknowledgement. Keep this confirmation for your records.
