1. Ownership
The Sensory Compliance System, including its structure, packs, templates, diagrams, training materials, audit tools, wording, resource architecture and associated original content, is proprietary material of Sensory Visionaries Limited except where third party material is clearly identified. © Sensory Visionaries Limited 2026. All rights reserved. Purchase or authorised access does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
2. Licence granted
Subject to payment and the applicable order, the purchasing organisation receives a nonexclusive, non-transferable licence to use the supplied materials internally for the sites, teams or users specified in the order.
3. Permitted use
Use materials internally to support staff practice and organisational systems. Print or store reasonable working copies for authorised internal users. Adapt implementation records where the product expressly identifies a template as editable. Use outputs internally as evidence of the organisation’s own practice.
4. Prohibited use
Reselling, sublicensing or commercially distributing the System or substantial parts of it. Uploading the System to a public website, shared public repository or unrestricted learning platform. Removing Sensory Visionaries ownership notices or presenting the System as the organisation’s own original framework. Providing copies to unrelated organisations or consultants except with written permission. Using the materials to create a competing commercial product or training package.
5. Internal adaptations
Where editable templates are supplied, the organisation may adapt them for its own internal operation. Adaptation does not transfer ownership of the underlying Sensory Visionaries framework or template design.
6. Regulatory position
The System is a practice and evidence framework. It is not issued or approved by CQC and does not guarantee legal compliance, CQC compliance, inspection outcomes or ratings. Organisations remain responsible for applying current law, regulation, guidance and professional judgement to their own service.
7. Updates
Access to updates depends on the package, membership or licence purchased. Unless expressly stated, purchase of one version does not create a perpetual obligation for Sensory Visionaries to provide future updates without charge.
8. Termination and misuse
Serious or repeated breach of these licence restrictions may result in termination of the licence after any notice or remedy period required by the contract or law. Termination does not affect copies that the law requires the organisation to retain as records, but those copies must not be reused for unauthorised commercial purposes.
12. Ownership
The Sensory Compliance System, its structure, sequencing, terminology, templates, checklists, diagrams, training materials, assessment prompts, implementation tools and associated content are protected intellectual property to the extent provided by law. Except for third-party material identified as such, ownership remains with Sensory Visionaries Limited. Purchasing access grants a licence to use the material; it does not transfer ownership.
13. Organisational licence
Unless a quotation or licence states otherwise, a purchased organisational licence is limited to the named commissioning organisation and the internal service, team or sites expressly covered by the agreement. It may be used by authorised personnel for legitimate internal practice improvement. It may not be shared across unrelated legal entities merely because they have a commercial or group relationship.
14. Prohibited uses
Without prior written permission, users must not resell, sublicense, publish, upload to a public or shared commercial repository, distribute outside the licensed organisation, remove ownership notices, represent the system as their own, or use substantial parts to create a competing commercial framework, training product or consultancy offer. This does not restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
15. Adaptation for internal use
Reasonable internal completion or adaptation of editable fields may be permitted where that is the purpose of the supplied template. Such adaptation does not transfer copyright in the underlying structure or source material. If an organisation needs extensive rebranding, group-wide deployment or incorporation into a commercial product, a separate written licence may be required.
16. No regulatory approval claim
The Sensory Compliance System is designed to support structured sensory practice and evidence. It is not a CQC accreditation, certification scheme or guarantee of regulatory compliance, inspection outcome or legal compliance. Organisations remain responsible for applying current law, regulatory requirements, professional standards and their own governance arrangements.
17. Updates and versions
Regulation and guidance can change. A purchase provides the version and update entitlement expressly described at the point of sale or in the relevant proposal. Unless an ongoing update service is expressly included, purchasing one version does not create an indefinite obligation to provide future versions without charge.
18. User responsibility
Users must apply professional judgement and adapt implementation to the people, risks, setting and regulatory framework relevant to their service. Templates should not be completed mechanically or used to create evidence that does not reflect actual practice.
19. Suspected misuse
If we reasonably believe licensed material is being distributed or commercially exploited outside the licence, we may ask for information needed to investigate, require the misuse to stop, suspend access where proportionate, or pursue available contractual and intellectual-property remedies.
20. Termination of licence
Material breach of the licence may result in termination after any appropriate opportunity to remedy the breach. On termination, future use and distribution must stop, subject to any legal requirement to retain records already incorporated into legitimate service records.
21. Governing law
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, this licence is governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
